About Localia

Localia is a collection of seven digital utilities built for the everyday work of freelancers, creators, students and developers. They all share one principle: the files and data you use are processed in your browser, on your own device.

How it works

The website is a static site: the server only delivers the application files (the site’s own HTML, CSS, JavaScript and images). Each tool is loaded only when you open its page. From then on, processing happens in the browser through standard APIs such as Canvas, Web Workers, File and Blob.

The tools never send your files or data to any server. The site shows Google AdSense ads, which load from Google’s servers; the Content Security Policy (CSP) only allows those advertising domains besides the site’s own.

Limitations

Each tool has a limitations section on its page. The most important ones are:

  • InvoiceQuick is not certified invoicing software and is not adapted to Spain’s VERI*FACTU rules. It is meant for quotes and simple documents; for invoices, verify the legal requirements with a professional.
  • ImageShrink depends on the browser’s encoder: results vary across browsers and not every format always gets smaller.
  • CleanExif removes known metadata but cannot guarantee that an image is fully anonymous.
  • Saved data (drafts, favorites) lives in your browser’s local storage and is lost if you clear it.

Tools

  • QR Studio: Create QR codes for links, text, Wi-Fi, email, phone and contacts. Download as PNG or SVG.
  • ImageShrink: Compress and resize JPEG, PNG and WebP images in batches without uploading them.
  • InvoiceQuick: Create professional quotes with VAT, withholding and discounts and download them as PDF.
  • CSV Doctor: Clean CSV files: duplicates, whitespace, headers, empty values, filters and sorting. With undo.
  • DevPocket: JSON, text diff, Base64, URL, hex, regex, XML, UUID and timestamps.
  • CleanExif: View and remove EXIF, GPS and XMP metadata from JPEG, PNG and WebP photos without recompressing.
  • PalettePilot: Generate harmonious palettes, extract colors from an image and check WCAG contrast.
